Everyone's favourite Star Wars character, IG-88, was a bounty hunter who appeared in The Empire Strikes Back for about two seconds and had no lines at all. Anyway, this image was done for the Pennsylvania Star Wars Collectors Society in Summer 2000 using Bryce and Photoshop.

Ominous :-) (Smile) I just wish you'd given us a bigger scan.

How did you achieve that classy fire effect?

Seek and ye shall find.
he looks pretty cool, too bad they didn't give him a role in any of the new starwars movies, considering he's a droid and there's like a dozen similar copies of him he made...
that is very nice too. the fire is excellent

Enigmatic, powerful, and ready to kick some ass....all without speaking a single line of dialogue. Very intimidating standing in the flames with nothing more than that red eye piering outwards. Thumbs Up
I like a lot of your work, but this really caught my eye :D (Big Grin)

xD I don't know if you try to be funny but you make me laugh.

Jesus saves.
Passes to Moses.
SCORE!
Ahh, the almighty 88, looking so evil in the flames. IG-88 always reminded me of a terminator where ever I saw him, but now he really does.
Although I've seen that SW movie, I don't remember him...That's one of my 'complaints' about Lucas' movies: there's too much in them!

Anyway, back to this piece...

You did a good job! The fire look convincing, the droid looks good...not much more to say, really :)
